Responsibilities

  • Assigning and coordinating assembler duties to maintain optimal production schedules, assembly line efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, including quality control and process optimization.
  • Monitoring production timelines and assembly schedules to ensure timely delivery of finished products, address any production bottlenecks, and maintain smooth operations.
  • Managing material inventory and assembly line planning to minimize shortages, reduce excess stock, and optimize production costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with company safety standards, industry regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Training new assembly team members on proper assembly techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols, providing ongoing evaluations to support professional development.
  • Communicating production updates, equipment status, and key operational information to team members for efficient assembly processes.
  • Maintaining a professional, organized assembly system to ensure alignment with business objectives, operational goals, and production timelines.
  • Supporting management with reports on assembly line performance, material usage, and process improvements to drive continuous operational advancements.

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, ideally in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes, quality control standards, equipment operation, and material handling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively, ensuring timely and accurate assembly and product quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production staff, troubleshoot issues, and optimize assembly workflows.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure, particularly when managing production line disruptions or urgent assembly needs.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including periods of high demand, to meet production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure efficient assembly operations and meet production targets and quality standards.
