Responsibilities
- Assigning and coordinating assembler duties to maintain optimal production schedules, assembly line efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, including quality control and process optimization.
- Monitoring production timelines and assembly schedules to ensure timely delivery of finished products, address any production bottlenecks, and maintain smooth operations.
- Managing material inventory and assembly line planning to minimize shortages, reduce excess stock, and optimize production costs.
- Ensuring compliance with company safety standards, industry regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Training new assembly team members on proper assembly techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols, providing ongoing evaluations to support professional development.
- Communicating production updates, equipment status, and key operational information to team members for efficient assembly processes.
- Maintaining a professional, organized assembly system to ensure alignment with business objectives, operational goals, and production timelines.
- Supporting management with reports on assembly line performance, material usage, and process improvements to drive continuous operational advancements.
Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, ideally in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, quality control standards, equipment operation, and material handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively, ensuring timely and accurate assembly and product quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production staff, troubleshoot issues, and optimize assembly workflows.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure, particularly when managing production line disruptions or urgent assembly needs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including periods of high demand, to meet production schedules and operational requirements.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure efficient assembly operations and meet production targets and quality standards.
