Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, patient confidentiality, and organizational policies.
  • Training new patient service representatives on communication techniques, healthcare processes, and insurance verification, providing ongoing evaluations to support professional growth.
  • Communicating patient updates, appointment changes, and important information to team members for improved service coordination.
  • Maintaining a professional, organized system to ensure alignment with healthcare objectives, operational goals, and patient care efficiency.
  • Supporting management with reports on patient satisfaction, service delivery, and operational strategies to drive continuous process improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service, patient service, or healthcare support role, ideally in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare processes, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively, ensuring timely patient intake and service delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, resolve inquiries, and provide optimal service.
  • Ability to remain calm and make strategic decisions under pressure, particularly when managing patient concerns or urgent service requests.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, to meet patient care needs and operational requirements.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure smooth patient service operations and meet patient satisfaction goals effectively.
