Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily property management operations, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated, and performance goals are met.
  • Assigning and coordinating property maintenance tasks, including staff and vendor allocation, to maintain optimal coverage and meet operational needs.
  • Monitoring team schedules to ensure adequate coverage for property maintenance, addressing conflicts in real-time to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Managing resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and vendors, to minimize disruptions, reduce downtime, and maintain smooth property operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with property management policies, company guidelines, and safety regulations, including maintenance schedules and tenant interactions.
  • Training new property management staff on scheduling processes, systems, and communication protocols, providing ongoing evaluations to support professional growth.
  • Communicating schedule updates, expectations, and key information to team members to optimize productivity and ensure smooth operations across properties.
  • Maintaining a professional, organized property management system to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Supporting upper management with reports on property performance, resource allocation, and continuous process improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Property Management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a property management or operations role, ideally in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with property management software, communication tools, and maintenance management platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively, ensuring timely resolution of maintenance requests and tenant needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with staff, vendors, and tenants, ensuring smooth property operations.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, particularly when addressing urgent maintenance issues or tenant concerns.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure smooth property management operations and meet organizational goals effectively.
