Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Organizing and maintaining product displays to ensure they are visually appealing and well-stocked.
  • Managing inventory to ensure stock levels meet demand and coordinating with team members for restocking.
  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the store environment is clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
  • Adhering to company policies, including sales procedures, pricing, and customer service standards.
  • Training new team members and providing ongoing support to help them excel in their roles.
  • Communicating store promotions, product updates, and customer service expectations to the team.
  • Maintaining a positive, professional, and customer-focused atmosphere in the store.
  • Reporting on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback to assist management in making informed decisions.
 

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail, customer service, or sales roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and scheduling software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a customer-focused role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, resolve issues, and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, especially when handling customer concerns or operational challenges.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store needs.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure a smooth customer experience and efficient store operations.
