Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily shift operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Assigning and supervising staff duties to maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Managing employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage across shifts
  • Handling real-time problem-solving, addressing issues that arise during shifts
  • Monitoring equipment and supplies to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Training new team members and providing ongoing performance feedback
  • Communicating updates and key information to staff across shift changes
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Supporting upper management with reports on shift performance and operational improvements

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with scheduling and reporting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage staff and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to maintain smooth shift operations
