Responsibilities

- Training junior engineers and providing ongoing evaluations to support professional growth and project excellence.
- Communicating updates, design expectations, and key information to team members to ensure project success.
- Maintaining a professional, organized, and goal-oriented engineering environment.
- Supporting upper management with reports on project performance, technical challenges, and operational improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a structural engineering or leadership role, ideally managing teams on complex construction or design projects.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with CAD software, structural design tools, and project management software like MS Project or AutoCAD.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a team-focused, technical environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage engineers, resolve design conflicts, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, especially when handling design challenges or safety concerns.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and project deadlines, based on project schedules and client needs.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure successful project completion and structural integrity.
