Responsibilities
- Handling daily canvassing tasks, ensuring outreach efforts and support services are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Assigning and coordinating canvassing duties to maintain high engagement standards and achieve campaign goals.
- Managing scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all canvassing shifts and outreach needs.
- Addressing real-time inquiries from supporters or voters and resolving any issues that arise during canvassing activities.
- Monitoring resources and materials to ensure smooth canvassing operations.
- Ensuring compliance with campaign guidelines, client expectations, and outreach objectives.
- Training new canvassers and providing ongoing performance evaluations.
- Communicating updates and key information to team members to ensure seamless canvassing efforts.
- Maintaining a professional, organized, and community-focused environment.
- Supporting upper management with reports on canvassing performance, outreach outcomes, and operational improvements.
Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a canvassing or customer service role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with canvassing software and tracking tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in an outreach-focused role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with supporters, voters, or the public and coordinate team efforts.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, especially when handling objections or challenges during canvassing.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and evenings, based on outreach needs and campaign deadlines.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure effective canvassing efforts and successful outreach outcomes.
