Responsibilities

  • Handling daily front desk tasks, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes and exceptional guest services.
  • Assigning and coordinating front desk duties to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Managing scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all front desk operations and guest needs.
  • Addressing real-time guest inquiries, requests, and resolving any issues that arise during their stay.
  • Monitoring supplies and equipment to ensure smooth front desk operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, guest satisfaction standards, and safety regulations.
  • Training new staff members and providing ongoing performance evaluations.
  • Communicating updates and key information to front desk staff to ensure seamless service continuity.
  • Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organized front desk environment for guests.
  • Supporting upper management with reports on front desk performance, service quality, and operational improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role, ideally in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with reservation systems and guest management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a guest-focused role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage guest interactions and coordinate with team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, especially when handling guest concerns or requests.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on hotel needs.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to ensure excellent guest experiences and smooth front desk operations.
